Revisited some work I did for a friend/client a while back to provide them with an actual vectorised version of their logo. This is the result. Had the logo on file, just needed to update the text to match.

Playing about with my #IMD learning log design some more. Tweaked about a whole 10 lines of code to change things up.
PermalinkJust updated the little CMS I’ve built for my #IMD logs. It now works more like a blog, with the most recent posts on top working down to the oldest, as opposed to working from oldest at the top to the most recent at the bottom.
PermalinkPut up a quick post on my #IMD logs talking a little bit about Major Project stuff and providing a little demo of some stuff I’ve been playing with for one of the two options I’ve to decide between.
PermalinkSpent some time making some much needed tweaks to one of my client sites. With luck it should be launched at some point before the end of next week (if not sooner).
PermalinkPolished off the main parts of my #IMD Learning Log done, with just a few little bits needing styled. Still working on getting the content written up for the first week’s content, covering my Major Project Ideas.

Decided that, for the laugh, I was going to produce myself a simple as all hell CMS for my #IMD logs. I’d previously decided I was going to use WordPress, as it is my CMS of choice, but it feels like I’m using the wrong tool for the job.
The bonus of this switch is that updating is a breeze, consisting simply of uploading markdown formatted .text files to my web server, and having them auto-magically added into my Learning Logs.
It’s still a little bit rough around the edges, I need to add in some more… useful… error messages, but it’s coming together really nicely.

Following on from yesterday’s video regarding my #IMD design which I’m steering away from, here’s a quick look at the more minimal design that I’m playing with at the moment. Hoping to get it pushed live tomorrow with mobile optimisation to follow within the week (in a similar nature to that displayed in yesterday’s video).
PermalinkA blog post I’ve been working on for what feels like forever which takes a look at the apps I use when I want to get a piece of work done.
PermalinkBack to uni and back to writing stuff up. I should have that blog article I mentioned a while back up by the end of tomorrow. Just needs some fine tuning with the content layout and things will be good to go.
PermalinkAfter @pfofficial’s great gig last night I’m quite pleased to be able to say that their site is almost ready for launch. Keep an eye out over the next week, you should see something awesome.

Quick snap of one of the views you can get in my Learning Log. Some bits of it aren’t up to date and some bits need some work even now. This is the widescreen view, for browsers with a minimum width of 1300 pixels. The layout changes based upon browser dimension.

How the Media Player I’ve been working on for PHOENIX FIRE looks currently.

Been playing around with a new app on my iPhone. Thought I’d share the outcome of experimentation. Back to actual design stuff tomorrow.

An auto-updating Twitter feed I’m using in my IMD related webapp. I’m quite pleased at just how nice things are laid out in this particular panel.

An almost completed theme for jPlayer. Added on some custom functionality to allow for switching between playlists with the player too. I quite like the functionality of jPlayer having actually used it.
