So, when I said earlier that I was taking it easy, it would seem I was lying. Update #2 for the day!
I spent some time sketching out how I want my comments to look and, after thinking about it, I’ve gone and coded it up too. All HTML and CSS, with the only embedded image being the avatar.
I also wanted to style the comments so that alternating comments looked different, alternating between different styles, with a third style being applied to comments posted by the author of the individual posts. All in all, I’m quite pleased with how things are looking so far.
Something to Say?
I love hearing from people that have something to say on a topic, but I have come to the conclusion that comments on my site aren't the best way to do this. If you have something you'd like to contribute to the conversation why not write a short article on your own site, or tweet about it?
