Tweaks & Adjustments

Posted on by David Turner

Spent some time revisiting/tweaking some aspects of the Belfast Mela website to make it more dynamic in the backend. It now makes editing and adding bits to the menu a lot easier.

I’ve also been putting some more work into another project I’m working on. Expect to see some updates regarding that in the next few days.

Decided to create an application out of my University’s (outlook.com) based webmail using Fluid for the Mac. These are a couple of Icon ideas I’ve come up with using the template available on this page on DeviantArt.

Inspired by a post over on forrst, discussing HTML5 vs Flash I decided to work on a blog post on the topic. This is a piece of artwork I came up with for the title image.

And before people think that I’m going to be ranting about one or the other, I believe both have their uses and that both have their place. I should be posting the article up early next week.

Part of a project I’m working on. One of a few designs that I’ve put together over the course of the last week or two. I quite like how this feels, but I think the navigation and header area could do with some work.

Today I’m working on converting static HTML to a WordPress Theme. Not much point in showing off photos or anything else at this point.

Something I sketched out yesterday, covering some of the ideas that I’ve been having for various blog posts I can work on at some point. Sometimes I over think things.
