On my connection from Chicago to Buffalo, I saw my first Airbus. Those things are huge!

Today’s post is a simple user style created by a friend. They’d been using a style that was available for use on a forum she frequents. Recently this style was removed from the options that could be used. I created a stylish theme for her to be able to use the theme she preferred again. The photo has a before and an after image.

One of the down sides to the American Eagle flights I’ve been getting whilst Stateside is that the planes themselves are tiny. So tiny, in fact, that I can’t actually stand up straight in them and the first time I was in one I actually hit my head whilst trying to sit down.

That’s what inspired this drawing.

It always frustrates me that, after having paid for rather expensive flights, this is what I am greeted with in the airports I end up in.

This was sketched in anticipation of my entry into the US, almost 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the que was longer. The position of the kids in the line, however, was spot on.

The top bit of today’s sketch is one of the people I met in Dublin, a great guy called Craig. He ended up sitting next to me during the flight which was nice, as he’s a cool guy. I decided to, at one point, sketch him.

The second bit of the sketch is something of a parody of the reaction that I had expected from him.

This is how my epicly long flight from Dublin to Chicago is described, and how it felt to me.

This sketch came about when I was shown the flight path of the journey I was taking. I was, quite seriously, flying pretty much over my final destination en route to Chicago’s airport. To say I was unamused would be putting it politely.

Another of my sketches whilst travelling from Dublin to Chicago last week. This one is related to my portfolio redesign, looking at how I want it to look in various screen sizes.

Some sketches of multiple bits of a layout and how they change in various views. This was originally intended to be posted on July 26th but holiday things got in the way.

Today has another snapshop of my Work in Progress Portfolio redesign. I’ve been playing about with different colours for links in my site. I’m really digging this shade.
